Hotel Khamvongsa is located on the Khun Bu Lum Road opposite the Inpeng temple in Ban Vat Chanh village.
Directions:
Driving from the Wattay Air Port, follow the main Luang Prabang Road towards the city centre. After passing the Park View Hotel on your left, and the Japanese Fujiwara Restaurant on your right, turn right at the red lights at the crossing on the corner of the Inpeng temple grounds. Hotel Khamvongsa is 50 meters down the street on the right hand side, and parking is available in the street next to the entrance.
Instructions to tuktuk drivers:
- Hotel Khamvongsa,
- Next to the Inpeng temple (in Lao language: "Wat Inpeng");
- Ban Vat Chanh (this means "Vat Chanh village", which is the name of this part of the town).
Advice:
Please be aware that some tuktuk drivers may want to drive you to a different hotel, since Hotel Khamvongsa does not provide the common commission payment which tuktuk drivers receive when taking customers to many other hotels in town.
